ProCurve Manager find function
Hello,
the PCM has a function find where it show the neighbours of a selected switch and witch is the connection Port. Does anybody know how to run it against all switches (maybe via PCM Policy, CLI or something else) to get a List of the Switch-Switch connection.
Thanks in advanced

Re: ProCurve Manager find function
Hello,
I will suggest that you use the show LLDP command as CLI, and then collect the result.
-- Show a list of connected devices
show lldp info remote-device
-- Show a detailed list of connected devices
show lldp info remote-device all
-- If you have some Cisco which uses CDP
show cdp neighbors
show cdp neighbors detail
For the best result use latest firmware. HP don't anymore transmit CDP - only reciving. (Due to licenses issues with Cisco and CDPV2)
HP Mirrors data between the CDP and LLDP mibs.
Hope this will help you.
