Radius using Procurve 2610 and EAP/TLS

Equipment:
Procurve 2610 switches
Microsoft Network Policy Server on windows2008R2 as Radius server

Application:
Secure management of procure switches.

We have configured our switches to allow us to authenticate to AD through our radius server running on Windows 2008R2 (Network Policy Server). Our question is how to configure the switch and NPS to communicate using a secure protocol instead of PAP which passes credentials in the clear.

Can anybody assist, please?
