setting the community names
Hi all:
Got Brocade 2800 switches in our SAN. I am setting up OVSAM and HPSIM to help with proactive alerts and management.
Question, these switches are in production and have been for some time. I wish to change the community names but want to make sure I do not cause any hiccups (or worse) to the enterprise.
Any comments, suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: setting the community names
Rick,
I asked a SAN's individual this question and they replied with the following info:
"The SNMP settings can be changed while
the switch is online, and the SNMP
settings are not disruptive to the I/O
traffic.
Changes can be made from Web Tools or
command line with "agtcfgset" command."
Let me know if this helps.
