Sharing information through VPN

Hello.

I've got an HP server, and the users of my LAN take information from it through a VPN (1 128 Kbps channel).

I consider that this channel is insufficient, so I'm planning to:

1) Implement antoher 128 Kpbs channel.

2) Buy another server, making a mirror of the first one.

I would be extremely obliged if anybody could provide me any help.
