transparent web caching

Hi,

I have a dubt about 5406 Procurve Switch. I would like to implement some sort of HTTP and HTTPS traffic forwarding to a Web Proxy in this switch. I'm looking for a similar technology that Cisco use with its WCCP, in the way that the switch/router should intercept HTTP and HTTPS traffic and forward it to the IP address of the proxy.

Is there any way of doing this with 5406lz switches? I tried looking in the documentation but I wasn't able to find anything.

Many thanks

Hi

you can use the ProCurve ONE services module with Application delivery : F5

Re: transparent web caching

Many thanks for the suggestion! But I'm afraid this is not exactly the solution I'm looking for. What I meant, is if there is any way to implement this traffic redirection or forwarding adding configuraiotn in the 5406lz switch, with no aditional hardware.

With Cisco you can configure WCCP (if the proxy is compatible with this protocol) or can be used Polocy Base Routing (PBR). In procurve switches must be something similar, but I do not find it. Does anyone know?
