URGENT - cisco switch 6506 poweroff

i want to power off the cisco switch 6506.

But the issue is how to ???
hardware switch ?
any command ?

please help me out !!! URGENT

Turn off the power switch? Pull out the power cords? Are you trying to do this remotely?

Shut down the IDS module by one of these methods.

â ¢Catalyst software:

â Enter the set module shutdown module_number command, and then enter the reset module_number command to restart the IDS module.

â Enter the session command to log into the IDS module from the Catalyst 6500 series console (see Logging in to the Sensor), and then enter the shutdown command.

â Enter the set module power down module_number command. You must then enter the set module power up module_number command when you want to restore power to the IDS module in this slot.

â If the IDS module does not respond to any commands from the IDS module prompt or the supervisor engine, use a small pointed object to press the Shutdown button.
