What software can I use to identify my devices and bring them up to the latest firmware level.
Hi I am looking for something that I can use to manage the patching of all of our HPE hardware devices in our estate.
We have a mixture of devices and they are spread over a wide area, trying to do it manually could be a bit of an issue.
I am looking for something that I can use that can -
- Identify the device.
- Scan it for firmware and software
- Provide recommendation of the latest version to upgrade to.
- Perform the installation.
We have around 400 switches so it needs to be fairly robust and capable.
Would HP Touch Management be able to do it?
Or is there something better that I could use.
Thanks

Speaking about switch...what's about HPE IMC (or Aruba Airwave)? check on respective release notes if your devices are all supported (and how they are: monitor versus configure) or not...
I'm not an HPE Employee
