Will modem show me when receiving another phone call?

I have a Pavilion ze4947 notebook with a Soft V92 Data Fax Modem with Smartcp. Can I configure it to open a popup to let me know when someone else calls me. Also what is Smartcp? Thank

All V92 modems support call holding for when an incoming call is made. I would check if your ISP supports V92 or just V90
