00329 FFI: port 45-Excessive CRC/alignment errors.

Hello,

I am getting this error every day on port 45 of this J9050A switch. This ports hosts 2 vlans (v100 and v200)

Here is some of the configuration:

interface 45

name "Connect to 2800_router on gig 0/0/0 "

lacp Active

exit

vlan 1
  name "DEFAULT_VLAN"
  untagged 45-A4
  ip address dhcp-bootp
  no untagged 1-44
  exit
vlan 100
  name "VLAN100"
  untagged 1-44
  ip address 192.168.248.131 255.255.255.128
  tagged 45
  exit
vlan 200
  name "VLAN200"
  ip address 15.149.186.67 255.255.255.240
  tagged 45
  exit

J9050A_switch# sh int 45

What could be the cause of this? Bad cable?

Thank you

Re: 00329 FFI: port 45-Excessive CRC/alignment errors.

Bad cable would do it, or a dodgy transceiver or patch lead, or maybe pushing the length limits. It's worth checking if you see CRC errors at the other end also.
