Port-Security doesn't work on R3506P06 (5130 EI Switch)

Hello,

I have a huge problem with the port-security.

I've upgraded all of my switchs 5130 EI 48ports to the firware R3506P06 (2nd most recent version).

Since that; my Port-security doesn't work anymore.

I insist that it was working fine before the upgrade. Now, when i connect a foreign computer, the port keep going up and down, but it doesnt shut it ADM.

Here are the configuration :

port-security intrusion-mode disableport

port-security max-mac-count 1

port-security port-mode autolearn

port-security mac-address security sticky [MAC] vlan [VLAN]

Then, if i connect another computer and do the show logbuffer command, i can see the interface going up and down, so it's kinda working because the interface is not usable but i would prefere an ADM shut and a trap send like before.

I really don't understand why the firware upgrade changed that.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @Keltris,

What was the previosu software version?

Can you share below output?

dispaly version
Go inside the interface:
[HPE] int <interface number>
[HPE] display this -->Share on more time

Thanks!

Re: Port-Security doesn't work on R3506P06 (5130 EI Switch)

Hello,

Thank you for your replie, the previous version was R2222P11

On the interface:

port acces vlan XX
stp edged-port
undo lldp enable
mac-address information enable added
port-security intrusion-mode disableport
port-security max-mac-count 1
port-security port-mode autolearn
port-security mac-address security sticky XXXX-XXXX-XXXX vlan XX

It was working well with the previous release of the firmware.
