Static MPLS TE SR with tunnel
Dear all I am a newbie here.
I have sucessfully replicate the example on MPLS SR configuration examples shown on Page 602 of "HPE_a00098729en_us_HPE FlexFabric 5945 Switch Series MPLS Configuration Guide.pdf". The segment routing is working in my system by setting the tunnels using the static SR LSPs.
Here is the environment I am testing. I have successfully did iperf over the two paths show below. However, I am not quite sure about is the preference in the end of each ip route-static command. My questions are below:
1. If there are two tunnels to the same destination with the same preference value, which one will be selected?
2. If there are two tunnels to the same destination with different preference values, will the tunnel with lower preference be selected when the other tunnel is busy?
3. Is it possible to assign many tunnels and load balance amongst these tunnels with MPLS SR methods?
Thanks in advance!!
