Superstack 4200 - Networking issue (Netmask)
I found a strange behavior of a Superstack 4228 regarding the handling of IP addresses and netmasks The Switch has an IP address like 192.168.103.x The netmask is 255.255.248.0. I expect, that I could connect from a PC with an IP 192.168.101.x and a netmask 255.255.248.0 without any problem to this switch, but it´s not possible. I have checked it with some newer 3COM switches and there it´s working as expected. Has anybody a solution for this issue ? regards IT Support
