Hi All,

Is it possible to see the configured ILO ipaddress via command line in linux...?

I know that we can view the configured ILO ip by pressing F8 key during the server boot time.

No, as far as I know, for technical reasons you have to use the old F8 key.

iLo enables you to reboot the system. Making it available from the command line or the OS at all could cause security issues.

You may be able to get this ability from the enhanced (not free) iLo license.

If you have it installed correctly, the hponcfg utility can report (and set) all of the configuration information from an ILO, including the IP address.

(I haven't used hponcfg myself.)

Cool! ur correct. Here is the command.

hponcfg -w /tmp/file --> you can giv userfriendly name in any dir of your interest.

-w, --writeconfig Write the RILOE II/iLO config to "filename"
