NIS ypcat host problem
Hi,
I'm working in a HP UX 11 server as NIS client server.
I have the NIS master server in a different subnet. I think that i have opened all ports as I need.
When I check the NIS client server configuration with the command "ypcat passwd", I have the list of all the users. But when I check with the command "ypcat host", I have the following error message:
"ypcat: no such map in server's NIS domain"
Is there anyone who could help me?
Thks

Re: NIS ypcat host problem
Are you sure you don't mean "ypcat hosts" not "ypcat host"?
