Re: pciehp: failed
I've run into the same error with RHEL4 update 3 on DL585.

Aug 15 14:13:44 host kernel: pciehp: acpi_pciehprm: Slot sun(6) at s:b:d:f=0x00:08:09:00
For workaround, I added "pciehp" and "shpchp" to /etc/hotplug/blacklist, and the errors were gone.
But would like to know the root cause.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Rudy

Re: pciehp: failed
Rudy,
did you ever find out more about this? I have/had the exact same error. RedHat suggested I do what you did. I'd like to understand the issue a little better though.
thanks,
Seth
