Setting up a 3rd party dot matrix printer through an axis NPS print server on hp ux
Hi,
I need help. I am using JetDirect via Sam to configure printers on the network. Operating System is 11.0. I have configured two HP printers and they work fine. However, I have a dot matrix printer which is connected to a print server (AXIS NPS 550R) on LPT1. This printer is a thrid party printer - "OKI Miroline 391".
I can ping the ip address of the print server, however, I am not sure how to use JetDirect to recognise that the printer is on LPT1.
Anyone know how I can go about getting this configured?
Thanks in advance
Maria
