Learn IoT Success from Base to Summit: Join us at Industry of Things World Berlin
Juliane Steinacker
Digital Innovation Consultant for Global Manufacturing, Automotive and IoT, Hewlett Packard Enterprise
For a top-to-bottom view of what’s happening now in industrial IoT, we invite you to join HPE at Industry of Things World, coming up September 23–25 in Berlin. Claimed to be Europe’s no. 1 industrial IoT show, the event will take place in the bcc Berlin Congress Center, in the heart of the capital.
A big focus for this year is AI in the industrial setting and closed-loop manufacturing, an approach that many consider the pinnacle of industrial digitization. You won’t want to miss Volkhard Bregulla’s Keynote: A pragmatic approach towards closed-loop manufacturing (Monday, Sept. 24, 9:20–9:50). Volkhard is HPE’s VP of Global Manufacturing, Automotive and IoT. He’ll explain how the closed-loop approach takes data and insights from any activity in the value chain and makes them available in any other activity in the value chain, enabling manufacturers to optimize product development, production planning, sales, and aftermarket services. He’ll look at various methodologies, use case prototyping and proof of value, and continuous integration of emerging technologies into the legacy environment.
The evening before Volkhard’s keynote, there’s an opportunity to explore the AI/closed-loop theme in an informal setting at the Icebreaker Session (Sunday, Sept. 23 at 8:00 p.m.) Look for Thorsten Milsmann, HPE’s Engagement Director, Global Manufacturing, Automotive and IoT. He’ll be talking about an AI data platform for manufacturing and how this enables closed-loop manufacturing.
Finally, at the World Café on Tuesday I invite you to join my presentation: From buzzwords and ideas to real-life projects – how to start the digital transformation. I will be talking about the many ways that your organization can take the first steps towards IoT success, and how to turn your ideas into business-transforming realities.
Visit our booth #13 to talk to HPE experts. Keep an eye on this blog – we’ll be posting more information about demos and partners in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, we invite you to fill out this Survey: The Present and Future of AI in the Industrial Sector, from HPE and the organizers of Industry of Things World. (The survey is open until September 20, 2018.) The survey is a great opportunity to share your views of AI, and how much it will affect your company and its competitive profile. Participants will receive a free copy of the survey report and will also have a chance to win a free ticket for Industry of Things World in the US, Europe, or Asia, as well as other prizes. We’ll be presenting selected survey findings at a press conference during the Berlin event.
We hope to see you there!
