Wi-Fi support

Hi,

I have a 3Com Office Connect 54Mbps 11g Cable/DSL Router.

I have recently purchased a new cell phone (Sony Ericsson Xperia X10) and I can't connect via Wi-Fi to the internet.

I tried connecting to the internet through other routers and succeeded, which makes me think the problem is with the router, probably something to do with settings.

 

*I also tried cancelling all kinds of encryption/security and it still won't work

Can you see the SSID ?? what exactly happens when you try to associate to the SSID ? do you get an IP address ?
