Hi Support,
Looking for a little advice. I have 10 of these switches to configure. They will all be in the same rack and also all of them will be connected to a single HP 1950 12 port 10GB copper switch (JH295A) using a single 10gb network cable.
i need to configure around 15 vlans on each of these, along with IP addresses nothing more. Instead of me doing this manually is there any sort of method where we can backup and restore the cofig to all the switches.
I was very intrested in the IRF option as this would have saved time however i understand this is limted to only 4 switces? is this true? and is there any other way to stack these units?

Hello @rogerp_1 ,
You can do IRF but you cannot add 10 switches in one irf stack.
Adding user guide link, you can check:
You can upload .cfg file in switch but make sure you will not lost others config.
Thanks!

SolutionHi @rogerp_1 !
An HP 1950 stack can have a maximum of four switches. So you can still make 3 stacks out of those 10 switches. Not a single stack as you planned, but still some improvement in order to make their management a little bit easier...
