1620 disable jumbo frames
Hello,
I have a 1620-48g switch and I want jumbo frames disabled.
In the product spec it is mentioned that there is jumbo frame support.
However in the manual I cannot find anything mentioning jumbo frames and it is certainly not configurable from the web gui.
So, my question is:
Are jumbo frames enabled by default in this model and if yes, how do I disable it?
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to give me an answer.

Re: 1620 disable jumbo frames
Hi ,
The jumbo frames or enabled by default . if you like to disable it , login into CLI and issue " undo jumboframe enable" on globally. To re-enable it issue "jumboframe enable"

Re: 1620 disable jumbo frames
Thanks for the reply,
I gave the command using the serial console CLI (no telnet on 1620s):
<1620 48port Basement>undo jumboframe enable
^
% Unrecognized command found at '^' position.
There is no xtd-cli-mode option as in other COMWARE:
<1620 48port Basement>?
User view commands:
initialize Delete the startup configuration file and reboot system
ipsetup Assign an IP address to VLAN-interface 1
password Specify password of local user
ping Ping function
quit Exit from current command view
reboot Reboot system/board/card
summary Display summary information of the device.
upgrade Upgrade the system boot file or the Boot ROM program
'en', 'sys', 'config', '_cmdline-mode on' do not work either.
How should I give the "undo jumboframe enable" command?
Thanks again
