1810-48G Switch and Oracle RAC Interconnect
Hi,
We are building a new environment with HP MSA and HP servers. We are using 1810-48G switches are the RAC interconnect and was wondering why when compared against a 1810-24G switch that the latancy is really different.
TCP_STREAM = 0.94
UDP_STREAM (sent) = 0.96
UDP_STREAM (received) = 0.96
TCP_REQUEST_RESPONSE = 9567.01
UDP_REQUEST_RESPONSE = 10474.93
TCP_Latency = 105 microseconds
UDP_Latency = 95 microseconds
Even unbonding the NICs and just using one switch doesn't seem to help.
We have a VLAN setup and a Trunk link between the switches.
Is there anything else that needs to be done?
Thanks
