Difference between transceivers for HP V1910-48G
I found that for above mentioned switch all the following transceivers are compatible.
HP X120 1G SFP LC SX Transceiver JD118B
HP X120 1G SFP LC LX Transceiver JD119B
HP X121 1G SFP LC LX Tran J4859C
HP X124 1G SFP LC SX Transceiver JD493A
HP X124 1G SFP LC LX Transceiver JD494A
Can someone ercognize difference between X120 and X124 version of the same SX transceiver ?
I have co idea, searched google, searched HP web, also SAw. Nowhere any mention, neither in specifications. How customers should decide which one to buy ?
There is one mentioned/used more often, the X124, it is the cheaper one....
Thanks
Filip

Re: Difference between transceivers for HP V1910-48G
The problem is that there are multiple SX variants. There is:
JD118B (SX) and JD119B (LX) and
JD493A (SX) and JD494A (LX)
The other thing is that these are rebadged 3COM switches, rather than classic Procurve ones, so you can't use any Procurve transceivers in them at all, as far as I know.
