HP-1810-48G (J9660A) config-update

I tried to update the config of my 1810-48g switches like description in the manual. There is a entry in the log, that the config was updated successfully, but the switch works still with the old config. What can I do?

P.S. This trhead has been moved from Switches, Hubs, Modems (Legacy ITRC forum) to Web and Unmanaged. - Hp Forum moderator

The 1810 switches have two images. Check that the one you upgraded is the active image. You find the config under Maintenance -> Dual Image Configuration

There is no possibility to choose an image, when I update the configuration. Choosing an Image is only poosible, when I update the code, but I want to update the configuration. I did the same on HP-1810-24G on the same way and it worked fine. Only the 48G is the problem

I found that after loading the config, click the "Reboot Switch" link, and UNSELECT "Save Configuration".  Then reboot.

I think what happens is the config is downloaded and saved to flash, but if you reboot and save config, you'll overwrite the current (old) config on top of the (new) downloaded config.
