HP 1910 switch login issues - Idle timer expired
Good Morning,
I have an issue with our switches on site.
When I try to login via the web interface I am met with the following message once it accepts the credentials - "Failed to log in because the login idle timer expired"
It then takes me back to the login screen
Any ideas on the cause & solution?
Thanks

Re: HP 1910 switch login issues - Idle timer expired
Hi!
Did any of you solve this issue?
/ Update:
We managed to solve this by:
logging in via serial/extra user created and deleting the user that got this error. After re-creating it it could log in again.
This might be because of ntp sync of time or something? Using latest firmware on an A5800.

Re: HP 1910 switch login issues - Idle timer expired
I solved this issue by unplugged the power cable of Switch and after one mint plugged it back.

Re: HP 1910 switch login issues - Idle timer expired
Just FYI I ran into this and the issue is with password-control
disable password controll or redo the user password from the serial connection and ou should be able to get in.
undo password-control enable
