Hello.
We have an issue with HP1910/24 JG538A, after power loss in building it lost all configuration. I have reconfigurated it but now it does not want to reebot, it respond with message "Specified boot file does not exist". If I shutdown it by taken power cable it loose configuration. I thought I should choose main boot file (in file management), I choose "bin" extention file, but it respond with "the specified file is invalid" message. I have tried to upgrage firmware but it again respond with boot.ini error. I tried to reset it through CLI - same.
Solved! Go to Solution.

SolutionTo update I choose flash:/jg538A-CMW520-R1119.bin
I have another issue now, I have deleted file "flash:/JG538A-CMW520_R1105_bak.bin" to download firmware on flash (no free memory overwise) and now if refuse to load, it stops on
The main application file is invalid!
Starting to get backup application
file--flash:/JG538A-CMW520_R1105_bak.bin!
The backup application does not
exist--flash:/JG538A-CMW520_R1105_bak.bin!
Starting to get the secure application file--flash:/secure.bin!
The secure application file does not exist--flash:/secure.bin!
Booting app fails!
It is impossible to Restore Factory Default Configuration from Extended boot menu, it says
Password recovery capability is enabled. To perform this operation, first
disable the password recovery capability using the undo password-recovery
enable command in CLI.
ADDED:
I have made an upgrade of application file via MODEMX, now switch loads and reboots correctly and does not loose configuration. Topic which helped https://community.hpe.com/t5/Web-and-Unmanaged/HP-V1910-24G-Switch-Application-program-does-not-exist/td-p/6441786#.X-rsE9gzaUk
