HPE 1820 Series Switch

HPE 1820 Series Switch - I finally able to change the IP address of this device. Done! Now...I was trying to change the default Username and Password but It will not let me! After clicking Save configuration seems working but when you log-out to and use it.. it return to the default Username and Password. 

Any help please.

I tested this on a 1820 switch and i was able to change the password and login with the same as well.

Did you go to Maintenance>>Password Manger>>Change the password and click on Apply there. 

If yes then can you let me know what is the firmware version of the switch you are running,
