HPE Officeconnect 1620-48G JG914A Admin-Edge-Port ?
Hello,
i have several of this Officeconnect 1620-48G Switches and many Clients (Windows 10 Laptops and PC's) do not get connected fast enough at Windows-Startup resulting in failed Group Policy Processing at Windows Startup. i disabled Power-Save on all Ports and set all Client Ports to Access-Mode. Spanning Tree is enabled with RSTP and all Client Ports are configured as Port-Edged. Protection Type is None. Still many Clients don't get connected fast enough at startup (yellow mark at the network symbol on the login screen stays for 1-2 seconds). All related Clients have latest BIOS and latest NIC Drivers. Same Clients work without any Problems on our Procurve 2510G-24 with all ports in admin-edge-port mode. How can i mimic the "admin-edge-port" behaviour on this Officeconnect 1620-48G Switches?
