packet per second forwarding rate of an SFP port?

Hello,

 

I'm not concerned with throughput, but latency/pps forwarding rate on a single SFP port.

 

It appears that is is quite high, but I am curious if the rate is the same as the backplane of the switch? the same as a Gb copper port?
