SSL cipher used on HP-1810G J9802A
We have many of these units deployed in our environment. We are required to be PCI compliant and as such we have been asked if the cipher versions of SSL on these units is current and not vulnerable to heartbleed and poodle attacks. I have been unable to determine what type of cipher is used. We have configured SSL to use a self signed certificate generated on the 1810.
The firmware is at v1.9 (still current according to HP site) but this version has been around for a while and exisited before Heartbleed and Poodle were discovered.
Can anyone confirm if the current SSL used on the 1810-J9802A is protected from these attacks?
P.S. This thread has been moved from Switches, Hubs, Modems (Legacy ITRC forum) to Web and Unmanaged. - Hp forum moderator
