Switch HP 1920

Hello,

i have a switch HP 1920 with 4 SFP ports. Anybody knows if the SFP interfaces come shutdown by default?

I can't find any information about that but my client insists with and i need to configure the sfp port to comunication between two switches starts.

Sorry, you weren't too clear (or I misunderstood):

Are you speaking about a 1920 Switch with its 4 SFP ports still unused (so voids) or are you speaking about a 1920 Switch with its 4 SFP ports equipped with supported SFP Transceivers (AKA mini-GBICs)?

AFAIK, once equipped with their supported SFP Transceiver, each SFP port is then enabled by the switch...since that port recognizes the Transceiver installed (if it is HPE genuine and supported by the 1920 Switch).
