Web interface no longer available after firmware update

Hello,

we are one school and have several switches HP J9660A.
After updating the firmware from PK 1.33 to PK 1.36 the web interface is no longer available. Several restarts did not help. We don't want to reset the switch reluctantly.

What can we do?

Thank you very much.

With kind regards

Andreas

Re: Web interface no longer available after firmware update

exact the same here today on our HP 1810-48G (J9660A).

Firmeware update from PK 1.34 to PK 1.36. After a reboot the switch passes traffic as usual, but we neither could ping the switch nor access the UI. The switch is also not available on the default IP 192.168.2.10.

We did no reset to factory default, because we fear that we still could not access the UI after while our whole vlan config could be gone.

Regards

Re: Web interface no longer available after firmware update

Does anybody know if there's a trick to boot with the backup-firmeware, without accessing the webUI before? I think this would be a chance to solve this problem.

we have a few HPE 1950 12XGT and a HP v1910-24 running on our site, this is the first time I really miss their telnet/SSH possibilites on our "broken" 1810-48G.
