I have Aio 600 (DL380 G5) with Windows Storage server 2003. The problem is that when I open iSCSI target mmc snapin and then select 'Devices'

created virtual disks and if I click in that window the mmc crash.
The application error from event log is:

Re: AiO 600 - problem with Microsoft iSCSI target snapin
Were you ever able to correct this issue? I'm not sure how long this problem has been hiding but just today I attempted to set up and ISCSI target and found that I am experiencing the exact same issue. This is occurring on on an HP AIO 1200r model.
When ever I click a drive in the ISCSI Target MMC, mmc.exe crashes and I get the above error in application events.

All latest updates/patches applied. Other than that, it's been factory restored!

Uninstall Microsoft KB973507 from your system. I have confirmed that this resolves the issue.
Good luck.

Re: AiO 600 - problem with Microsoft iSCSI target snapin
Apparently, the AIO Service Release MUST be applied before the ASM update, or all goes to POT.
I always received a licence error when attempting to apply the service release, so figured it did not apply to my system. Apparently HP has an advisory on it which they tell you about only AFTER the system is pooched.
Since following all the updates properly, all works well except for some ASM errors which i have a case open for, but web support sucks!
Anyone out there finding the business support sliding? When we used to support these units in Canada, there were some top notch techs who had answers for everything. Now i seem to hold the techs hands a lot more. Boo.
