Base System Device

Hi,
I've reinstalled my DL360 G2 server with windows 2003 OS on it.
I did it NOT from the "smart start" cd. I installed the server driectly from the win2003 cd installation.
I get this error: "Base System Device" on the device manager console.
please see image here: http://postthatpic.com/files/1755/basesystem.jpg

Can someone help ?

Forthermore, is smartstart-5.50 is the installation for dl360 g2 ? can i use the latest smart start version instalation of my server (dl360 G2) ?

Thanks,
Michael

Re: Base System Device

Shalom Michael !
1) most likely "base system device" is ILO.
(Proliant management processor)
Install Proliant support pack (which include all needed drivers) - will resolve your problem

2) SmartStart 5.50 is last CD for G1 servers.
For DL360 G2 use need to use last SmartStart version:
