BSOD and NIC driver upgrade
I have a HP Proliant DL580 G5 server with 8GB RAM, running Windows 2003 SP2 and Citrix. I have recently received random BSODs. The crash dump indicates a issue with the HP NC373i NIC (see attachment). The NICs are teamed. I plan to upgrade the NIC driver, but will I also have to upgrade the NIC configuration software that manages the teaming?

Re: BSOD and NIC driver upgrade
Hi,
The NCU addresses different issues with each version and also enhancements, which enables additional configuration.
The NIC firmware and drivers should meet minimum requirement rather than the NCU, but I suggest to keep all the firmware, drivers and utilities/management software upto date and HP is here in case something goes wrong to resolve the issues at earliest.
Thanks,
Jagadish
