I have a bunch of similarly configured, proprietary test nodes, running Windows 2003 Server. Each node has 4 drives, 2 of which (drive 1 and drive 2) are mirrored to each other. The mirrored set contains drive I: (502MB) and drive K: (127GB).
Recently, we've had a spate of error logs reporting that the mirrored sets are failing or not active. Due to the age of these test nodes, we suspect that we are having drive failures within the mirrors. However, since these are also heavily used nodes that I can't easily justify breaking the mirrors or shutting down long enough to use a tool like GRC's SpinRite (which is the way I would go if I could shut down the nodes for awhile).
Is there a tool (either 3rd party or OS provided) that will let me test the drives for errors while the system is running?

Re: checking drives in a mirror without breaking or shutting down system?
Follow-up... I've come across Seagate Tools for Windows right now... (http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/seatools)... seems to be what I need, but all the disk tests passed so I'm not sure...
