Clustering in 2003 - nic settings
Hi..
Here's my issue. I have 2 new DL380 G4's attached to a Smart Array 500 G2 via scsi.
They are set up as clustered Nodes with the array as storage.. I keep getting timeouts on the Public and Private networks which then reboot the nodes/servers. i see this on both nodes.
The private is using a X-over cable and i have set the speed to be 100/full on each Nic. The Public again has been set to 100/full.. I have a feeling i'm seeing these errors due to incorrect settings on the nic's, ie checksum or flow control but cannot find any guides anyway to specify what should be set to what!! Any help would be appreciated. All Nic setting barring the speeds are default.
Thanks
Shaun
