Error installing Windows 2003 Server on DL360G4

I start the installation with smartstart-cd and
windows2003server-cd. after copieing files and restart of the server comes this message : The Entry "IDE CD-ROM (ATATI) / 1.2 / PCI IDE-Controller" in the unattended script file doesn´t exist in the [SCSI] section of the INF file txtsetup.sif - Setup cannot be continue - Press any key to exit

what can i do ?

Hi,

what version of SmartStart are you using?
I would guess you are trying to install W2K3 in German. With older versions of SmartStart there was a problem:

You could always try booting directly from the Windows CD. It has drivers for the Array controller. Then when Windows is installed you can apply the latest ProLiant Support Pack.

Hi.

the smartstart version is 7.30
the server language in english

if i install from the win2k3server cd , there is no problem

This problem will happen if the language you select in SmartStart(English) doesn't match the language of the operating system CD(German, etc.). The strings for the boot controller drivers are translated in the txtsetup.sif on the OS CD, so the correct language must be chosen in SmartStart in order for it to work.
