EVA4400 & Oracle Slow Connection

Hi,

We have an Oracle Server installed on Blade Server and connected to EVA 4400. Performance is very low and some users are unable to access the Oracle DB Stored on the EVA,
any ideas?

Is there only one kind of "Blade Server" in
the world?

Does "Blade Server" run some kind of
operating system? (Does this OS have only
one version?)

Connected how?

"Unable" is not a useful problem description.
It does not say what you did. It does not
say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual commands with their actual
output can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

How about supplying a little useful
information with your question?

Re: EVA4400 & Oracle Slow Connection

Steven now that you have replied I will supply the information.
Oracle 9i
2 Blade Servers BL870c with Windows Server 2003 for itanium installed on both and configured as windows cluster.
Oracle is a group in that cluster.
Database Location: EVA4400
Server connected through Brocade SAN Switch and BL Servers connected to network core switch through Gbe2c Swithces.
everything works normal until some users on the network try to access the Database application and it hangs with some users while keeps on working normaly with other users.

Any Ideas?

Only one.

You're asking this Oracle-on-Windows question
in a VMS forum. Why? You should be asking
it in some appropriate forum, like, say, a
Microsoft forum or an Oracle forum. Asking
it here, especially with no useful
information, is a waste of everyone's time.

I don't use Oracle, so I know nothing, but
I'd guess that there are some relevant user
forums at oracle.com. I'd start there.

You wouldn't understand why I used this Forum.
Thx for your prompt support Steve.
