Event ID 57 in Source HP Serial Relay Agent
I am getting this error in the application event log:
Event ID 57
The description for Event ID ( 57 ) in Source ( HP Serial Relay Agent ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: .

OK some guys are saying that if you disable the command line interface on the integrated line out port that this should stop the error.
So i did that and have configured snmp the way its supposed to be and still that dam error is filling up the event log faster than linford christie can run.
I have changed the serial leads recycled the servers, looked into the port config and still i have no idea why the UPS will not communicate with the the Rack and Power manager.
I have this installed on 2 other servers and it works fine, but all the servers are identical and run identical apps they are a part of a cluster.
Come on HP genius's we need a new answer to this problem. It appears the CLI issue on the ILO is not the only thing that causes the serial relay agent error.
