Event id 9
Hi
I have the following error in the server:
Type: Warning
Event ID: 9
User: N/D
Description: "The device, \Device\Scsi\ql23002, did not respond within the timeout period"
This error is show in the event viewer every 8 minutes.
This server is node of the cluster.

I think that ql is the HBA driver.
Verify that your firmware/driver for the HBA adapter are updated. Verify that you are not getting connection errors to the SAN.

This can usually mean that you have a connection problem with your hba or with your SAN switch, perhaps a bad hba or a bad port transceiver or even a bad fibre cable
Check the event log on your SAN switch as well.
The warning is the driver response to a query to the SAN Switch for either information from the Name Server or a request to access a device that has reached the "timeout period" and has not jet received anything.
