Running System Insight Mgr 5 Sp3 & getting repeating event log entries showing MxDTF Restarting warning (ID:2) followed by Restart as Sucessful but this has the red cross & shows as an error (ID:1)
need some help on this one please as not sure where to start. SIM seems to be working ok otherwise.
Thanks

Re: Event log shows MxDTF restarting every 50 seconds
Finally solved this with HP Support help. problem was i had not installed OpenSSH when i installed the SIM. Had to uninstall the SIM, reboot & reinstall this time leaving OpenSSH ticked & it all worked ok. I also put Sp4 on.
No problems since doing this.

I think this is some kind of java problem.
When I look log file on
C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\logs\mxdtf.3412.out I see below messages

By the way should I uninstall and then reinstall HP SIM on every error?
there must be something more logically.
Thanks
