File replication
Can you guide me how I can replicate directories in W2K3/ W2K Srv ? in Win NT, there was a very simple procedure for that (inside share > replication), but I haven't found such file replication system in W2K or w2k3. I have found that we can do it using DFS + FRS or robocopy, but don't know what's the procedure to get it done. I want to replicate a logical volume ( say F:) of one W2K3 srvr (DC) to another W2K3 srv's (ADC) F:, so that if DC brokes down completly, I can run the application with it's data without much downtime from ADC's replicated copy.

Re: File replication
How about using Storage Virtual Replicator on Windows to continuously mirror F:\ on machine A to F:\ on machine B?
Have a read:

Re: File replication
Ivan I have seen the links you reffered, got an idea about DFS+FRS concept, but still tghink that it's not an easy ( and more complicated also) setup than of NT's file replication system, where it was as easy as just a mouse click.
Saket, you've given a good suggestion, but I think I've to go for OV to get it working, isn't it? I need some in-built solution from w2k3 itself.
More suggestions to replicate one logical drive from server A to server B are welcome.
thanks & regards,

Re: File replication
It is a host-based virtualization solution. The 'Replicator' is a bit misleading. It just means that the software implements _local_ replication (=snapshots).
You might want to take a look at the 'Double Take' product, which allows replication on directory level:
