HBA Initiator IDs Changed

We installed Windows Server 2003 Enterprise, 32 bit Edition, and when we tried to connect to our NetApp storage solution, we were show initiator IDs of ...:54 and ...:55.

We were later told the OS needed to be 64 bit Edition. We did the upgrades and we are now trying to connect to the NetApp storage again. However, we are now being shown initiator IDs of ...:be and ...:bf ???

Has anyone ever seen this before? Do the HBA initiator IDs change when you upgrade an OS' bit version?
