How do determine that raid 1 is configured on a windows 2003 server
Hi everybody
I just implemented SATA RAID 1 on my Windows 2003 server, but I'm not sure wether RAID 1 was actually implemented.
Can you please tell me how to determine wether RAID 1 was actually configured on a Server 2003.
Thank you very much.

Re: How do determine that raid 1 is configured on a windows 2003 server
Basically, if you have a hardware RAID 1, you should use the BIOS utility or the software utility that you used to configure the raid to verify the configuration.
If it is a hardware RAID, you will see only one disk device instad of two in the windows "disk management" mmc.
If it is a software RAID, you will see two disks on the disk management mmc but mirrored (See the legend and the colours).
