HP DL380 Cluster Node disk connection error
HP DL380 G4 x2 & /MSA500 G2
Windows2003 Cluster - was working correctly, now stopped. Has trouble finding disks.
I have a cluster node which is now reporting error 1034 in the event log and cannot see the shared disks anymore. It's missing the registry strings in the DiskName string values in CLusSrv, which a working node has.
It i add these back in will it recognise the shared disks on startup again ??
We have had somepower failures so it may have occured after that. Not exactly sure when it started though.
One node is still working fine and attaches to the disks correctly but obviously i am unable to failover the sevices now.
Can i remove the broken node from the cluster, switch off the working node, and switch on the broken node to get it to find the disks again? or will it corrupt the data on the shared disks ?
What is the correct procedure to re-attach the nodes ?

Re: HP DL380 Cluster Node disk connection error
Evict node via Cluadmin from working node. Reinstall OS on second node. Add second node using Wizard.
