HP Insight Server Agents/W2k03 Agents die. No apparent cause.
We have a Blade server environment consisting of BL20pG2 servers running Windows Server 2003.
Originally all the servers were updated with the PSP 6.4.
Due to a reported error on the power system from the rack server agent we contacted HP to ensure resolving the error.
HP told us the error was a software issue. A software error in the Rack Agent. We should update to the new rack agent.
Unfortunately updating to the new rack agent crashes the Insight Server Agents.
HP now told us to upgrade with the full PSP 7.0 instead.
Unfortunately the Insight Server Agents still crash.
Can anyone please help stopping this behaviour or offer an explanation as to the cause?
We'd very much prefer that the agents are kept running.
Best regards
Lars.
