I can't install some drivers.

Hi there,

I installed windows 2003 server in ProLiant DL145 G2.
But I couldn't find some drivers in my server such as Sytem interrupt controller, PCI memory controller and SM bus controller.
What do I do? Help me plz.

Best regards,
Jonny

Re: I can't install some drivers.

Do you see these devices in device manager with a warning or an question mark?

When the driver is not installed, I use to see a unknown device, pci device, etc. But your devices are named, that's why I ask you that.

I have not seen any drivers for these devices in the web page.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: I can't install some drivers.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes,I saw a warning mark(!) in device manager.
I don't know what kind of drivers to install them.
Perhaps, do I need a cd which is included drivers?

Re: I can't install some drivers.

Jonny:

I would expect those drivers to come with the system. Here are the chipset items in your system:

AMD 8132 Chipset for PCI-X support and NVIDIA nForce Professional 2200 MCP for PCI Express

Have a look here:

Re: I can't install some drivers.

Do you have enough resources running thast you can get the the Internet? If so, I'd try (1) removing the troubled device references from the device manager, then (2) going to windowsupdate.microsoft.com ...
