Imaging a ML110 to a ML350
Hi,
I need to replace my Proliant ML110 with a ML350 for improved performance. I have a new application that requires SQL server. Currently i have SBS 2003 OEM standard installed and i want to migrate to the new hardware can i do this with imaging software or is it a new install? The ML110 IDE hard disk will work in the new Server and i have already purchased the ML350 3x72Gb RAID5 with SBS 2003 OEM Premium.
thanks
James

Re: Imaging a ML110 to a ML350
You can do such migration with Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server
http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/
with Universal Retore option.
It is great product (we use it), but it is not freeware

Re: Imaging a ML110 to a ML350
Hi,
my main concern was that the OEM licence would be transferred? I know that SBS can be reactivated and i guess i would use the new ML350 licence? has anyone tried this?
thanks
