Insight manager alerts

I have a DL360 G4 which I recently brought online. In the past few days, I am receiving the following errors via e-mail alerts:

Subject: : Remote Insight/ Integrated LightsOut Interface Error (9006):

Event Name: Remote Insight/ Integrated LightsOut Interface Error (9006) Event originator: clt-rightfax1 Event Severity: Major Event received: 02-Oct-2005, 15:20:19 Event description: Remote Insight/ Integrated Lights-Out Interface Error. Of all the Insight servers, interfaces, management consoles that I have set up, this is a new alert for me. Anybody have any suggestions?

Re: Insight manager alerts

Jon,
Try to update ILO firmware

Also try to "Reset Integrated Lights-Out" (there is a button in the System Management page).

Re: Insight manager alerts

When I tried to apply the 1.82 firmware, it errors out. The reason given is

Management processor rejected the firmware data.

Re: Insight manager alerts

I have downloaded the CP005863.SCEXE file. However, I am not familiar with how to apply a Smart Component. I would appreciate it if somebody could give me some semi-detailed instructions how this method is used. Thank you!
