Java for IA64

Hi,

We have an Itanium server running Windows 2003 Ent 64-bit. We installed Java for IA64 system but teh Oracle Universal Installer does not start.

I think te problem lies in the Java software since when we define the path in the variable we get a java application error.

Pls advise what to do.

have you tried installing the latest JRE and JVM from http://www.sun.com/download/index.jsp?cat=Java%20%26%20Technologies&tab=3&subcat=Java
